Bear Lake

One of our most fun weekends over the summer was going to Bear Lake with the Carman's and Thanadabout's. Both families stayed in a huge cabin overlooking the lake and we spent two days boating and spending time together eating delicious summer food and playing games. The first day we got started on boating a little late in the day and a storm came in really fast which sent us home for an early night in. Heading to Bear Lake for a weekend at the end of August can be a little bit chilly but still so much fun! The next day we rented wave runners and played on the water and on the beach all day. It was great! Stephen and I only stayed one night which was enough because the couch just wasn't the most comfortable. We left late the second night on his motorcycle. It was a dark and freezing ride home. I bundled up in about 4 layers of clothes and gloves to try and keep warm. The stars sure were beautiful though.
