Our first pets together

After Christmas I moved into what was going to soon be our first little home together after we got married. Pretty quick after moving in Stephen and I decided that we wanted a pet. We decided that fish were the perfect option. Stephen still had an old tank from when he was little. So we drove to Kaysville, picked it up, then went to pet smart and bought our little babies. They were so pretty and it was fun making a little home for them and naming each of them. What the store associates didn't bother telling us before buying them is that you have to buy one at a time and let them adjust to the water for a couple weeks before adding more. We bought four fish and two snails. All of our fish but one died pretty quick. So we tried again buying one at a time and actually were pretty successful with our fish while we lived there. By the time we moved out of our little green house only Jewels was still alive. We were proud to at least keep one fish alive in our short time living there.
